You are an ambitious and confident individual who thrives to deliver a personalised and unforgettable experience!
Ideally you have 1 years’ experience in the parts automotive environment or relevant demonstrable experience in a similar type of role …but especially with brilliant attention to detail and organisational skills to match!
You are confident on the computer, with a high level of ability to deliver on processes and compliance requirements. With exceptional organisational skills.
Your positive and can-do attitude demonstrates excellent customer service skills, with an enthusiastic and respectful approach to deliver your work with a high level of integrity and a drive to succeed!
You have a ‘Full Clean UK Driving Licence’.
What does a normal day look like?
A normal day is always different from both yesterday and tomorrow!
Manage the parts operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment through; optimising processes to ensure internal and external guest satisfaction, growing profitable parts sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting, and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging department personnel. Whilst achieving departmental KPIs and ensuring all manufacturer standards are met in line with current limits of authority.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish realistic and achievable parameters for departmental budgets, enabling these to be agreed at senior level and ensuring the sustained profitability for the department.
- Recruit, coach and appraise associates, developing the potential of the team and the department’s effectiveness.
- Check the maintenance and condition of the Parts department premises and equipment, ensuring these do comply with business and safety needs and provide recommendations for capital expenditure.
- Establish and monitor standards and processes relating to parts availability, stock control, and administration and marketing to meet guest expectations.
- Coach members of the Parts department on a day-to-day basis, holding team meetings and discussions to develop the team’s knowledge and morale. This will include developing any Parts trainees and future succession and development planning.
- Instigate stock checks, complying with auditing requirements and reconciling book stock
