We have an excellent opportunity to join our Grange JLR business in Barnet as an Apprentice Service Technician. 

Becoming a Grange JLR Apprentice Technician:

  • Working with exceptionally skilled and friendly teams, who are masters in their field.
  • Undertaking a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Standard through Jaguar Land Rover.
  • Embedded within your training are the JLR global training materials.  At the end of your Apprenticeship Programme, you will undertake the Jaguar Land Rover Level 2 Assessment.
  • You will attend weeklong blocks of training at JLR’s state of the art academy in Leamington Spa (Leicester), during the 33-month apprenticeship.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving training in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics, from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features
  • Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers guidelines.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Advising the service advisors about required repairs.
  • Producing time estimates
  • Maintaining repair and service records
