Main purpose of role

Supporting the Group Compliance Manger in carrying out the duties in areas relating to complaints, GDPR and FCA compliance, where required.

Location: Working from one of our locations across the UK. Hybrid working also possible after a probationary period.

Salary: £25,000 pro rata £12,500 for 2.5 days per week, phone and laptop provided.

Key Responsibilities and Duties (list not exhaustive)

  • Complaint handling including Group escalated complaints, support with legal cases, Alternative Dispute Resolution Service responses, root cause analysis of complaints and subsequent process improvements / feedback & coaching.
  • Supporting Managers and Directors across the group in their handling of complaints and providing advice on relevant UK legislation and Consumer Law.
  • Responding to Data Requests and managing data breaches.
  • Review and authorisation of financial promotions and website compliance.
  • Observational monitoring & quality assessing: Utilising mystery shops, Management Information and other sales monitoring methods to work with businesses to develop and improve compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Report any compliance issues or further areas of improvement to the Group Compliance Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • High level of self-motivation.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Methodical and diligent.
  • Acts with honesty and integrity.

You will have to provide a Basic DBS check and adverse financial background check.
